Pre Post Natal Training

Pregnancy is a time of huge change, regardless of how many times you've previously done it! I wanted to train as much as I could throughout my pregnancy however exercise seemed like such a minefield, it was just impossible to find out exactly what I should and should not be doing!

It was even harder when I was looking to come back to exercise once I'd been signed off after giving birth, I just had no idea where to start! 

​

This is why I knew, when I qualified as a PT, that I wanted to specialise in helping to support other women keep active during their pregnancy and find their way to being a happy, healthy mum.  

​

How Does It Work? 

In short, a pre natal programme is exactly the same as a normal programme, however the focus is on maintaining your existing fitness level, this is not the time for weight loss or smashing PB's! When you're pregnant some days can be tougher than others and we will work together so that you are always comfortable and feeling good. 
 

For a post natal session, we focus on bringing you back at the pace which is most suitable for you and your body. This period can often be more challenging to make space for exercise, however we will work closely to make sure you get the most out of your programme.

For both phases it is important that we are flexible. There will be days when you're not feeling your best or have loads of time available and so we adapt and allow for this.

Lastly, I do not believe that you should have to pay extra just because you are pregnant, or have just had a baby therefore my pricing is exactly the same for you as it is for my standard clients 🙂
